Shimshai & Susana invite you on an intimate and healing acoustic musical journey. Offering original and traditional ceremonial medicine music from north to south, their voices weave together in simple and subtle purity. Bringing decades of world travel, ceremonies and traditional experiences together, these 2 souls offer you a glimpse through the window of ‘La Ventana’, their Shasta based retreat center and ongoing ceremonies and programs. Usually performing simply as a duo, the focus of Shimshai & Susana’s music is really the healing message of the lyrics. Singing largely in Spanish, augmented by several Indigenous American languages, and often incorporating English translations to allow the listener to integrate the powerful transformative words behind the music.
